Rwandan-Burundian gospel singer David Trésor Nduwimana has been added to the highly anticipated Australian gospel tour featuring Adrien Misigaro and Richard Nick Ngendahayo, bringing together three prominent voices from East Africa’s worship music scene. Nduwimana, who is based in Australia, is well known across the region for worship songs including “Narahariwe,” “Yesu Uri Inyishu,” “Urashoboye” and “Niwe.” His addition is expected to give the tour an even stronger East African gospel identity as the artists prepare to connect with African communities and their friends across Australia. The tour will feature three major shows, beginning in Brisbane on September 12, 2026, followed by Melbourne on September 19, before concluding in Sydney on September 26. The events are being organised under the theme “African Gospel Echoes,” an initiative led by Nadine Shema and her husband through their company, Millennium Investment & Consulting. The organisers say the project aims to bring Africans and their friends together through worship and gospel music. Richard Nick Ngendahayo, one of the headline performers, will use the Australian tour as part of his international engagements before returning to Rwanda for another major project in November 2026. He is widely known for songs such as “Yambaye Icyubahiro,” “Mbwira Ibyo Ushaka,” “Ibuka,” “Gusimba Umwonga,” “Si Umuhemu,” and “Wemere Ngushime.” In 2025, he made his debut at BK Arena, attracting a large audience for what became one of the memorable gospel concerts of the year. Adrien Misigaro, meanwhile, is celebrated for hits including “Ntacyo Nzaba,” “Niyo Ndirimbo,” “Nkwite Nde,” “Nkurikira” and “Buri Munsi,” and has collaborated with leading artists such as Meddy, The Ben, Israel Mbonyi and Gentil Misigaro. With Nduwimana now joining the line-up, African Gospel Echoes is shaping up to be a major celebration of East African gospel music in Australia.
