During the signing ceremony, RRA VC President Uwitonze Jean Paulin expressed his gratitude to the players who committed to the club and urged them to uphold discipline and teamwork both on and off the court. “We expect you to value discipline and good conduct, whether inside or outside the court. If you work together and aim for victory as one team, there’s no doubt that trophies will come your way,” he said. Head coach Mutabazi Elie highlighted that the team’s preparation for the new season has been more intense compared to last year and expressed confidence in the squad’s potential. “We are conducting more advanced training sessions than before. I’m confident that our new players will help us raise our performance level and return to the top where we belong,” he remarked. RRA VC will open their 2025/26 campaign on Saturday, October 18, 2025, against Ruhango WVC. A week later, on October 24, they will face Police WVC in what promises to be one of the most anticipated matches of the early season. The first round of the league will conclude on December 6, 2025, with RRA VC taking on APR WVC. With over 17 years of history, RRA VC remains one of Rwanda’s most successful volleyball clubs, boasting 10 national league titles and several other prestigious trophies, including the Memorial Kayumba Cup (2014, 2017, 2020, 2022) and the NSSF KAVC Championship (2024).
