On Tuesday, July 11, in a statement released on Twitter, President Zelensky strongly criticized the NATO organization.

Volodymyr Zelensky said "Ukraine should be represented at the NATO summit in Vilnius. Out of respect".

Article 5 of NATO’s charter dictates that if one member is attacked, all others must come to its defence.
