The City of Kigali informs the public that an official fireworks display will take place at midnight on the night of 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, in celebration of the end of the year and the beginning of the New Year. The fireworks will be launched from several public locations, including City Hall, Kigali Pelé Stadium, Canal Olympia, and Kigali Heights, ensuring wide visibility across the city. The City of Kigali informs the public that an official fireworks display will take place at midnight on the night of 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, in celebration of the end of the year and the beginning of the New Year. The fireworks will be launched from several public locations, including City Hall, Kigali Pelé Stadium, Canal Olympia, and Kigali Heights, ensuring wide visibility across the city. In addition, displays will also be held at designated private locations, namely Hôtel des Mille Collines, Atelier du Vin, Serena Hotels, and KCC Parkings. The City reassures residents and visitors that this is a well-organized and secure activity. The fireworks display is expected to last approximately 10 to 19 minutes. The City of Kigali further reminds the public to consume alcohol responsibly during the celebrations and strictly prohibits the serving of alcohol to individuals under the age of 18.
