On July 17, 2024, Ambassador Rosemary Mbabazi presented her Letters of Credence to Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, accrediting her as Rwanda’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Liberia. During the ceremony at the Executive Mansion, the official seat of the Liberian Presidency, President Boakai praised the strong ties between Rwanda and Liberia and expressed his commitment to further deepening cooperation, particularly in the areas of business and trade. “Rwanda continues to make great strides in rebuilding from the ashes of the genocide against the Tutsi, becoming a pride of Africa,” he remarked in his speech. In addition, the Rwanda National Police and the Liberia National Police maintain close collaboration across various policing disciplines, further strengthening ties between the two nations.
