Rwanda Premier League (RPL) has officially approved two technology firms to provide electronic ticketing (e-ticketing) services for matches in the men’s first division for the remainder of the 2025–2026 season. The decision follows a resolution adopted by the FERWAFA Executive Committee on September 8, 2025, which granted Rwanda Premier League the authority to select and accredit companies responsible for ticket sales in the top-flight league. Based on this mandate, the RPL Board of Directors convened on December 9, 2025, to review applications from companies that had competed for the right to offer e-ticketing services. After assessing the submissions, the league approved two firms: URID Technologies Ltd and SINC Today Ltd In a statement released on Tuesday, Rwanda Premier League informed football fans and stakeholders that only these two companies are authorized to work with clubs on ticket sales through digital platforms for the rest of the season. According to the guidelines issued by RPL, each club is permitted to partner with only one of the approved companies of its choice. The selected service provider will be allowed to charge a commission not exceeding 8 percent of the total revenue generated from ticket sales. The league further clarified that the new arrangement will come into effect starting from Matchday 12 of the 2025–2026 Rwanda Premier League season. From that point onward, no club will be allowed to engage any other ticketing company outside the two approved firms. Rwanda Premier League said the move is aimed at improving transparency, efficiency, and the use of technology in match organization, while also ensuring a standardized ticketing system across the league. The introduction of regulated e-ticketing is expected to enhance the matchday experience for fans and strengthen revenue management for clubs participating in Rwanda’s top football division.
